Termite Inspection & Control
Termites cause billions in structural damage across South Africa every year -- often undetected until its too late. Our specialist team stops them in their tracks.
The Silent Destroyer of Gauteng Homes
Termites work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week -- silently eating through the timber, flooring, and structural elements of your property. A single termite colony can contain millions of workers, and by the time visible damage appears, the destruction is already extensive.
Early detection is everything. Our trained technicians use specialist equipment to find termite activity even before visible damage appears -- protecting your investment before the problem becomes catastrophic.
If you suspect termites, do not disturb them. Disturbing a colony causes it to scatter and spread -- making treatment far more difficult and expensive. Call us immediately.
Signs You May Have Termites
Spot any of these? Call us immediately -- early detection saves thousands in repair costs.
Hollow-sounding timber
Knock on timber floors, skirting boards, or door frames -- a hollow sound indicates termite activity inside.
Mud tubes on walls
Pencil-thin mud tunnels running up walls, foundations, or timber are a clear sign of subterranean termites.
Stiff doors & windows
Termites produce moisture as they eat, which warps timber -- causing doors and windows to become hard to open.
Blistering paint or flooring
Paint that bubbles, blisters, or peels without moisture exposure can indicate termites feeding beneath the surface.
Flying termites (alates)
Swarms of winged termites -- especially in spring -- indicate a mature colony is expanding nearby.
Piles of discarded wings
Finding small white wings near windowsills or light fittings after a swarm means termites are settling in.
Frass (termite droppings)
Tiny wood-coloured pellets near timber are drywood termite droppings -- a tell-tale sign of dry-wood infestation.
Tunnels in timber
Visible tunnels or galleries in exposed timber are a definitive sign of severe termite damage.
Sagging floors or ceilings
Structural timber that has been heavily eaten may cause floors to sag or ceilings to appear warped.
Termite Treatment Methods We Use
Chemical Soil Barrier
A liquid termiticide is applied to the soil around and beneath your foundation, creating an invisible barrier that kills termites on contact and prevents re-entry. Effective for 5-10 years.
Termite Baiting Systems
Bait stations are installed around the property perimeter. Termites carry the bait back to the colony, wiping out the entire colony -- including the queen. Ideal for sensitive environments.
Reticulation Systems
A network of perforated pipes installed beneath slabs and around foundations that can be recharged with termiticide as needed -- providing long-term protection for new and existing buildings.
Spot & Localised Treatment
For isolated dry-wood termite infestations, we apply targeted treatment directly into infested timber -- eliminating the colony without disrupting the rest of the property.
