Brown/tan with geometric hourglass. Less potent than black button but still medically significant. Common in gardens and wall voids.
MODERATE RISKSac Spider
Small, pale yellow-brown. Builds silken sacs in corners. The most common spider bite in SA -- can cause localised necrotic reactions.

Large, fast-moving, harmless. Often found indoors during rain. Bite is painful but not dangerous. Relocation preferred over elimination.
